I went to delete a post I had just made and this was in the confirmation window...

You may have had to put in a reason for the deletion. You can just write "user request" or something. If it doesn't work, just report your post and ask us to delete it for you. It's a common request that we get.

The post deleted. This error was on the page where you input the reason for deleting the post. This did not come as a result of not giving a reason.

Oh, I see what you're talking about. That's the "delete permanently" option. It's displayed that error for about a year and a half. We don't use the permanent delete option (we always soft delete so it can be restored), so it doesn't really make a difference to us. The permanent delete function still works, but for some reason it displays that error on the deletion page, and has for quite a long time. It's been so long that I can't even remember what it's supposed to display!

I found this in a phpbb discussion related to the warning "The reason for that error is that you are using a 3.1.9 style on your 3.1.10 board" The warning can be suppressed by adding @ in front of sprintf so it won't show up to the end user.
