Just wondering how to put a picture in your replies. Yes, I see the insert image icon, but it just says image when I click it. Please leave an answer below if you know how. Thanks!

On this site there is another forum (Site Related) for asking these "How To Do It" questions.
In another thread talking about political cartoon images I posted this line of code:
[xxx]http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/herblock/ClassicCartoons/Assets/hblock12_enlarge.jpg[/xxx]
in which the two uses shown as xxx were instead the code img. xxx=img
Between the opening and closing img tags is the url for the photo (image file) I wanted to have displayed. (usually a .jpg or .gif file)
and resulted in showing this cartoon

You need to "find" the picture on the interent first. So, basically, if you want to post your own picture, you need to uplaod it first onto web service sites like photobucket or flickr. There you can also get the required [img]-tag which you then use here.

I'm using the correct format, yet no matter which photo sharing service I share the photo link from, I keep on getting a response that says "image", with no picture shown. Any ideas?
