The way advertisement displayed on the side of forum seems to be penalizing widescreen users?
On 1024*600 screens, those advertisement on left and right hand side of the forum are visible and somethings they would block content in some interfaces like search screen, but I discovered that those advertisement are gone in 800*600 screen. Is that the way the forum designed to discourage people from using widescreen monitor?

Added to list and will check it out. I use a 27" monitor also.

This may be part of the issue too - long signatures with no spaces expanding the page to the right underneath the advertisements:

and correction, the two resolutions mentioned in OP should be 1366*768 and 1024*768
