Am I somehow missing the option to turn off the snow? It's cute the first time, but annoying after that.

Agree! It's irritant. Hope it will be switched off soon.

I don't mind it I just wish it didn't follow the mouse left to right, if it just fell straight down it would be a little more bearable.

VerticalScope doesn't own this website anymore. Maybe it's time to delete this topic?

It may not be on their site and they maybe trying to sell it, but according to the above link, verticalscope still own it.

Was just an observation. I believe the ownership has remained the same because usually the first thing that is changed is the copyright bar. Maybe he knows something that we don't.

I was angry at one of the admins and went to yell at VerticalScope for it. They replied to my email with one short sentence: "We don't own them anymore". Head support, ey? :-)

Well, we have had no info that ownership has changed, and that sounds strange as we had discussions with VS devs just a week ago. Could you please forward that email to me? Johnkrist@airliners.net

I replied to your private message. I didn't mean to stir any unhealthy rumors or cause trouble. Hope I didn't.

How can I delete a post written in the wrong topic?
I posted here something by mistake and when I wanted to delete the message a warning announced me that I could not do it. The only thing I was able to do was to change the content of the post and write this question.

Only option is to use the "Report Post" function available by clicking the warning triangle. A moderator will then remove the post.

Hi Breech, thanks for the PM, and it was from Demand Media, or as they are called now Leaf Media Group, so I can understand that it was confusing :)
Vertical Scope still own Airliners.net, and as far as I know there is no change in ownership planned either.

I could swear I wrote on the VS contact page. How could I make such a mistake. Must've been very angry with one of you guys. :-D All's well that ends well, though. :-)

Thought I'd use this thread to mention that the site is serving me horrible malware at the moment through (I think) Google Ads.

When I use my phone, after every couple of pages my Chrome browser will suddenly be redirected past a dozen different sites, ending up at a malware site which hijacks the browser at every start up claiming I need to click a link to remove a virus.

For those experiencing the same thing, force close Chrome, switch off WiFi and mobile data, open chrome, close the bad page and open a new one, navigate to chrome://history and delete all the junk sites it just visited.
