This is not really a problem but when I post to the forums, the system immediately say Posted 11 hours ago. I realise that this is because the time zone in eastern Australia is 11 hours ahead of your zone, it just looks a little odd.

Click on your icon in the upper right with the empty head/face and select User Control Panel and then click on the Board preferences and then select your time zone under My timezone. I was seeing the same 11 hour difference until I changed that to UTC +11 Australia/Sydney.

Doesn't it just means how long ago the post you're viewing was x hours/minutes/days ago?

No, take a look at these screenshots. An unsigned in user has the same zone as the basic setting. Its the post time.

Not signed in I see the same thing, never even touched my time settings and it's all good
