Even within the US itself, pollution is clearly concentrated in areas of higher population density. If you could take the East Coast, the West Coast, and maybe Illinois, and squeeze out the rest, you would probably find pollution levels equal to or higher than Europe. I would post a graphic illustrating this, but that would most probably upset you (again).
You should post it, then we will all see that Europe's population centers are all generally dirtier than the US population centers.
But really, you need to learn how to use the internet. It took all of 5 seconds to type in 'diesel 50,000 premature deaths". If you were to do so, you could come back and proclaim "Mham was WRONG! Gotcha!" (its actually 50,000 in the UK only from all pollution). Go ahead, post what you learn....
