Who's Ready For The 2019 Formula 1 Season?

Mon Feb 04, 2019 2:41 pm

From the new rule regulations for better racing, to the new team names during the off season. New drivers as well as a few veterans switching to different teams. Plus the month of teams revealing their new 2019 challengers, what are you're thoughts for this year? I'm actually quite stoked and can't wait for the season to get started. And hopefully Ferrari will be World Champions again...... hopefully.

Ferrari, will have another great start followed by questionable strategy calls and then next year is their year...

I'm hoping for the Big 3 to be even closer this year. Midfield battle, I expect it to be a masterful racing between them.

yes - ready for taking naps on the couch after sunday's lunch!
that's the excitement F1 is supposed to bring to the fan.
you see them starting - that's how they'll arrive.
the only race I can watch without falling asleep is Monaco's GP.
they managed to make Interlagos and Spa boring too.

I am ready but afraid it's going to be the same old same old. Mercedes running the show and the rest trying to follow. Hopes of Red bull closing the gap with the Honda engine.... not much.

This year's finally the year for Ferrari. So much new talent on the grid this year - should be good to watch.

I'm getting tired of Christian Horner bitching about everyone but his own teams failures, so I'm hoping for Honda's run to continue as it was and Red Bull to fall back to be a midfield team this year - it would be hilarious to see Renault finish ahead of them.

Other than that, another season where those that put in the investment and effort have it pay off, while those that skimp complain for 21 races about how it's not fair, and how other teams should be artificially crippled just because they can afford to do more. More gnashing of teeth about a budget cap, an R&D cap, a team size cap etc.

Hoping for a Mercedes season again, but Ferrari might bring it for an entire season this year so we shall see about that, and wondering how Vettels going to get on with a team mate that is expected to give him a run for his money.

My good friend goes to F1 in Abu Dhabi and says it's insane. I need to check it out!

It's started - Horner already moaning about how a cost cap would unfairly benefit Mercedes and Ferrari...
