Teams haven’t changed ownership hands?

Patriots founded in 61 but changed owners from the Sullivans, to Orthwin to Kraft, the Celtics and Sox have been sold as well, don't recall how long Jacobs has owned the Bruins. My guess 2 teams played for the title with one winning.

I am still stumped. Been mulling it over and trying not to cheat. They won championships, but maybe it is the longest time a city has kept all 4 teams in the NHL, NFL, Baseball, and Hockey?

You might be on to something, only city to have a consecutive streak of all 4 major sports?

I'm not sure, and I'm trying to avoid looking at wikipedia to check because I don't want to gleen another possible bit of information that would unfairly reveal the answer. I'm leaning towards not likely though. Which only makes this harder.
