Home Shootings
or

CCGPV wrote:Home shootings by far. The majority of gun deaths happen in the home due to suicide.

So what would his remedy be? Spending billions to turn schools into windowless prisons? Guard towers with snipers? I’m sure he’d prefer that over legislating guns. This is the type of pure stupidity we’re dealing with over here in the states.
When did illogical morons start becoming the all knowing authority, while the educated, knowledgeable and may I say enlightened individuals continue to be sidelined? In 2018, experts have been shunned in favor of people who don’t know a damn thing about what what they’re doing or even what their jobs are.

Actually I have been saying that exact thing. There should only be one way in and out of a school and have security and maybe metal detectors and X ray machines like at courthouses and the other doors can open from the inside in case of emergency but should have an alarm and state only for emergency use . I also thing some gun control measures need to be in there as well but again we have so many guns out there now you will never change that no mater what laws you enact. As much as school would suck for kids having this kind of thing but it's about safety and sadly that is our country today.

Ever look into the kinds of horrible abuses "home schooling" is used as a cover for? Recent examples are the Turpin family and the Hart family.
Of course the right advocates for it

I understand your logic, but what about other emergencies, like a fire for instance? Some schools have thousands of students and evacuating them all through one exit would be a death sentence. If there’s an earthquake or tornado, the exit could be blocked leaving everyone trapped.

As I have said, one simple law that would help with this (not stop it, it is a known fact that laws do not stop lawless acts) is to connect the weapon that committed the crime to the person that owns it. People must be responsible for their weapons and the use of their weapons. It is not asking too much for people to secure and be safe with their weapons.
