With the fact that Trump violated the public trust and refused to divest or separate/isolate his business interests from his presidency, who is watching or requesting verification that he or his family are not enriching themselves with the swings he is causing in the stock market?
Basically he can make billions easily with the statements he makes and actions he is taking. And as the savvy business man he claims to be it would be appropriate.
Just curious. Nothing may be happening but I do firmly believe as Reagan said: Trust but verify!

This is one of the issues that will be in Mueller's investigations. No doubt Mueller has a mountain of Trump's tax returns, banking information, loan documents, etc. There should be sufficient accountants and attorneys to review the data, ensure it all matches up, etc. When Trump goes for questioning he might be surprised as some of the questions. If he doesn't meet with Mueller then a forced Grand Jury questioning will be far more detailed.

It should be under the scope of SEC or a Congressional oversight committee. But he probably stacked those in his favor so Mueller would be the next best hope.

It is of course well within the scope of Muellers investigation. In order to proof treason in court, Mueller needs to find a motive. A motive can be whatever can be used to make Trump comply with Russian demands, that includes, among other things, payments keeping Trump org liquid, and could be withhold, each and any crime that Trump can have committed and the Russians may know about and so on and so forth.
Without being able to give the Jury a motive it will be sort of hard to get convictions, so there real pipe dream is that anything that could serve to put pressure on Trump can be outside the scope of the Mueller investigations. It is like demanding a murder being investigated without law enforcement ever looking at possible motives.
Now there is a chance that Trump is in deed innocent in terms of treason, it seems more likely every day that he is simply to stupid to collude about just anything, but there is enough money laundering and unvetted investors, one of the few crimes rich white men get regularly send to prison for, turned up to put him away for good. Running for President was a good idea only as long he didn´t win and consequently could avoid coming under the microscope.
