Alternative color recommendations to spend my gift cards

Wed Feb 28, 2018 7:46 pm

As everyone should know, I have been buying a lot in Fairy Tale pink for Spring 2018.

I have unused gift cards from JCPenney and Kohl's. I have been waiting for them to stock more IZOD products in Fairy Tale. However, it seems like Amazon has been getting most of the Fairy Tale love, leaving my JCPenney and Kohl's gift cards unused.

I am thinking as alternatives, either a purple or a light blue color might be possibilities. For a purple, Pantone's color of the year Ultra Violet might be a possibility. For light blue, either Little Boy Blue or Clear Air.

What does anyone here think? Are purple or light blue good color ideas, or should I wait until Spring 2019 where there may potentially be new products in Fairy Tale?

Well, we can't see the colors so take pictures and post them so we can decide.

There may be a Cousin Cyan or Closet Celadon.

These are the lighter variations of the colors at JCPenney:

These are the brighter variations of the colors at JCPenney:

Here are some of the colors Kohl's has:
https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-31223 ... le&prdPV=2

Note the two variations of Fairy Tale. Same hue, although one is brighter than the other. I have both versions, although in person both look lighter than in the photos.

Note that I already have Blue Radiance, and striped Advantage Polos in Rapture Rose and Sheer Lilac. I have an Interlock Polo in Rose of Sharon. My father has Simply Green.

Why don't you model some of your clothes for us? Show is how they fit on you.

I bet you wont.

IZOD is a brand that has one of the best fits on me, which is one of the reasons why I am such a loyal customer. Other brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren tend to run small in a lot of products.

Again, why don't you post pictures if yourself in the style you like and we can give you advice. The fit ON YOU is important.

What, do you expect me to photoshop myself into those colors that I don't own? I am a size XXL. The fit isn't tight at all.

No, I'd like to see you in photos of the clothes you wear now to get an idea of your fit.

But you wont.

He's right. How are we supposed to decide between Little Boy Blue or Ultra Violet for you? Some colors go with some people.

Little boy blue? I’m like so triggered right now. Never have I seen such affirmation of the gender stereotype in my life. Offended just doesn’t cut it.

Blame it on Pantone.

Note that I have some Saltwater Red shorts, and perhaps Little Boy Blue might be a good color to pair with it.

FYI, right now I think I have decided on Little Boy Blue for the Kohl's gift card. I am still undecided for the JCPenney gift card.

I have just placed my order on my Little Boy Blue Advantage Polo. Interestingly it appears to have a pink IZOD logo on it.

I just decided on my JCPenney gift card - an Advantage Polo in Ultra Violet. I don't really wear a lot of purple, so I decided to give it a try.

Got my Little Boy Blue IZOD Advantage Polo yesterday. Confirmed that it has a pink IZOD logo on it; looks like it might be Fairy Tale. In fact, the colors appear to be the inverse of my Fairy Tale Advantage Polo, since the color of the shirt looks like the color of the logo on my Fairy Tale Advantage Polo.
