No more thrills for Fats Domino

Rock and Roll legend Fats Domino has passed away at the age of 89.

Best known for "Ain't that a shame" and "Blueberry Hill" he sold more than 65 million records and was only outsold in the 1950s by one Elvis Presley.

Blueberry Hill has long been one of my all-time favourite songs. When my daughters were much younger my wife and I were very surprised to find that both of them loved the 1950s Rock & Roll classics. They will both play a few Fats tunes tonight.

Another musical legend has passed.

Ironically he was same age and passed on same day as actor Robert Guillaume who also was 89.

I can't believe the dude was still alive. Was convinced he died 30 years ago.
