Microsoft and Adobe on the road to a merger?

Wed Sep 13, 2017 5:16 pm

Last year, Microsoft and Adobe formed a partnership with their cloud services. And now this month, they are expanding their partnership around Adobe Sign and Microsoft Teams, where Adobe Sign will become Microsoft's preferred e-signature solution and Microsoft Teams will be Adobe's preferred collaboration service for Adobe Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

With the growing partnership between Adobe and Microsoft, does anyone think the two companies can merge soon? I know that Apple fanboys would prefer to see Adobe get bought out by Apple, but Apple has too much overlap with Adobe and such a deal would probably face intense scrutiny by the U.S. government.
