The Sinai is a barren desert while the Golan heights have very valuable water sources for which Israel and Syria had already exchanged gunfire prior to the six-day war. They're not comparable by any means.

Natives across the United States were treated horribly for about 200 years. They were told where they could live, who they could worship and what language they could speak, often at gun point. Forcing Natives off their land and forcing them to march to Oklahoma or forcing them off their native lands in the Siskiyou Mountains or the American government breaking treaties in South Dakota because gold was discovered.
