Absolutely disgusting i have to say. Whats even more disgusting the cabin crew didnt try to stop these events from occurring despite knowing about what was going on. They should be face severe consequences.

Why? As long as there are no kids around and none of the passengers complained, no offense was comitted.

Really? Doesn't strike you as the kind of thing that should be stopped? Not saying life sentence in jail, but you don't think it would be appropriate to at least ask them to stop?

Yeah.. I guess a "wait until you can get a room" comment would have been appropriate, but maybe they just gauged the situation in the cabin and decided doing something would mean more unrest that they already had on their hands.

Britons flying to Ibiza is constant party and booze and includes that. I assume brain cells get damaged by constant boozing. If you are a family with children, you should avoid this crowd, both on the way and in Ibiza.

Probably because no one was bothered by it.

How dare families vacation to Ibiza! They should expect public sex on an airplane if they're flying there. They're pretty much taking their kids to a peep show if they want to vacation there

:eyebrow:  If that is really how you feel, then there is nothing anyone can say to convince you otherwise. It is inherently inappropriate to have sex in public, especially when people are seated inches from the act.

That's what Ibiza is known for. However, it's not so bad. As far as I understood there were no children at that specific flight.

Taking kids to a peep show? That's one way to put it. But surprisingly, children can even get used to seeing these kind of things. Of course when they first see it they might be bothered, but after seeing it three or four times they just find it normal. They're becoming open-minded that way.

Ryanair indeed does have a generous 30" seat pitch, very comfortable seats. I've had worse seats at more expensive airlines.

The perks of using an exit, not space, limited aircraft. Enjoy it while it lasts though when Ryanair starts getting the MAX 200.

This is either a severe violation of social values, or perfectly okay, depending on how good looking the people were.

Those are the Brits flocking to San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) which is the "cheap and British" area of Ibiza.

But indeed Ibiza attracts many other tourists. If you fly from any other country like Spain, Italy, France or Germany you will see plenty of families with kids and "normal sober" people.

Other folks say it is inappropriate for a women to show her hair in public, so there is quite a range of what's is inappropriate. I guess you don't want to align with those, so stop making "appropriate" something that shall be enforced in any way.

Wow you are out of touch with reality I feel you think public sex is even in the same realm as covering or not covering hair in Saudi. Public sex is inappropriate in every country (all society). Covered hair is only inappropriate in a very minute section of society (and getting smaller day by day)

Been to SAP some years ago. Beautiful place, lots of fun, it was really interesting seeing the Brits getting drunk at 5 PM like it was 5 AM...

With all due respect:

1. Are you really equating the horrendous mistreatment of women in the Middle East and other places with someone complaining about a public sex act on an airliner?
2. Are you really saying its okay to get so drunk you lose any inhibitions at all and do that? If he slapped her while they were having sex would that be okay too? That would be something that could have happened on the flight too.
3. Are you and others really thinking that everyone on the plane thought it was funny or ok to have public sex on aircraft?
4. So if others joined in on the fun you are okay with that too?
5. You think those two people would have no problem having their faces revealed and the video being put out on the internet for anyone to see?

When my son was seven years old we got stuck on a United flight during a pilot's job action and we were moved to a different flight and my children, wife and I were separated and sat in four different rows.We were stuck on the ground for an hour after leaving the gate waiting for some storms to leave the area. They sat my son next to a couple who enjoyed reading/looking at a Penthouse and had fun talking to each other about how they would try this or that position later. When they started making out and he started feeling her out at least the stewardess had the decency to stop them, pointed out who sat beside them, and moved my son away from them. It wasn't much fun talking about it when he told us what they were doing.

There are so many things wrong with this scene and the reactions to it it is sickening. Western Civilization truly has no future if many people take your attitude about it.

It is the same mindset, just a different magnitude. No harm is done to anyone, apparently no one complained, no reason to interfere. Pretty simple.

Maybe they should have done it in the loo, disgusting but not the first time initiation into the 'mile high club' has taken place in it or in the cabin area. Problem with Ryanair they would charge Euro 50+ to do so (oops, sorry to give them ideas !)

Having sex in plain public view on an airliner is an inexcusable act. Buying a ticket on a commercial airline to a destination known for vacation doesn't give you permission to shower passengers in the overspray of bodily fluids. Quite literally a biohazard and disgusting.

This is pure trash. The destination of the airplane is irrelevant.
