He was the only actor to appear in all 295 episodes of the sitcom."

Peter Sallis was the voice of Wallace from Wallace and Gromit animation films

He seemed to go on forever and had been, for quite some years, effectively blind. That included a good chunk of the time he was still acting and doing Wallace.

He never let it stop him working.
