I like "back ground" and unseen characters, myself.
Sara Bellum from PPG
BMO from Adventure Time
Gunther from Friends
There are two from Corner Gas but they never had names. The school boy who knocked out Karen and the fund raising lady.
Maris from Frasier
Stan from Will & Grace
Bubble from AbFab
Sheridan from Keeping Up Appearances

You don't know the first thing about him- you're just trying to bolster your own fragile ego by slagging off a total stranger. Most of us gave that up after high school.

Up, in most cases. Anyway, we've already had one. He's even on our $20 note. And I don't mean murderer in the war starting George Bush II, sense, I mean Andy Jackson literally dueled with and shot something like a dozen people while in office.
Anyway, Frank Underwood would certainly be an upgrade over the current offering. He's not a nice guy, but that's ok. The office title is Potus, not Mr Rogers Replacement. He just has to be good at the job.

What is normal to one person is odd to another.
I don't know if I am the person you are referring to who is afraid of flying. I hate flying but I love hanging out at airports and watching all the flights come and go. Something about the noise and the tail colors and anticipation is a thrill for me. But being stuck in a metal tube at 500MPH at six miles above ground for hours on end I hate.
I hope you are not deleted and warned. You made a simple observation.

According to my imdb.com list I have watched or plan to watch more than 1000 TV series. Making a top ten list would be very difficult. I will just put my all time favorites, probably in part because I was watching this as a kid and teen, but I've watched everything again more recently and it was still great :
Mulder and Scully in The X Files

johns624 wrote:You have to admit that it seems like we have a higher percentage than in the general population of people who seem to have Aspergers? .
I think it is for another thread but what I think is happening is:
With more research being done on Aspergers, the more people are finding out they are on the spectrum or they have "symptoms" so they just go with it. I am probably somewhere on the Aspergers spectrum. What does that have to do with enjoying animation? I am right handed and could look at Dali paintings for hours. What does one have to do with the other?
Maybe there is a connection there, maybe there is not. My point is: there is no harm in watching cartoons and commenting online how much you like them.

In fact you made me think about the list I posted above, and I realized that though Sir Humphrey gets most of the acclaim, Paul Eddington's Hacker is actually my favorite character. When Sir Humphrey is spouting civil service gibberish, it's usually Hacker's reaction which really makes me laugh.

Politicians have very little to do with the stock market. It made most of its run during Obama's presidency and I don't give him any credit, either. Also, there's more to a country than the stock market. It's peoples morals, what other countries think of us, how we treat
all of our own citizens, etc.

-Stephen Colbert: The Colbert Report (the persona, not the actual person)
-Princess Clara: Drawn Together (again...a stereotype of religious folk)
-Carl Winslow: Family Matters
-Sokka: Avatar: The Last Airbender (the series, not the movie)
-Raven Baxter: That's So Raven (yes...I was growing up last decade and liked the show)
