You have to admit that they had a good chance of being right. I'm glad to see them wrong this time, though.
That said, this is a fascinating turn of events. At least in the Western world, I haven't seen someone try to commit mass murder out of sheer financial avarice in
ages.
In the very first instance yes, however it was a bit odd, prior to this one it's been mass casualty when they have had access to weapons or improvisations such as using vehicles to run people over, this one was neither and the 'trail' to ISIS involvement/inspiration (far more the latter in the previous cases) was unconvincing.
After the London attack we had Nigel (Donald's Gimp) Farage tweeting how London is 'in chaos'. I texted a friend in London at the nearby Ministry Of Defence that evening asking how they were, the answer was what 'in lockdown for a few hours, then a longer journey home'. Due to the need for the police and emergency services to secure the area etc.
Our very own Ann Coulter, a vile creature called Katie Hopkins (found fame on 'reality TV wouldn't you know!), tweeting from her excellent vantage position over a 100 miles West of London in similar blood curdling terms. In real life things got back to normal very quickly. Maybe these sorts are just projecting their own panic or doing it for darker motives.
As it turned out, the attacker was a 52 year man born in the English County of Kent. Nigel Farage is also a 52 year old man from Kent, funny old word, isn't it?
