What do you plan to wear for Easter?
A very good question and a situation that has me in a bit of a pickle! I'm going to be flying AKL-SIN-FRA-OSL at Easter. I'll arrive in Singapore at ~0700 in the morning and leave at ~2300 in the evening, meaning that I'll be in the very hot city for most of the day. I also won't have access to my luggage until arrival in Oslo. This presents me with a few constraints;
1) I need something warm to wear on the plane (every 787 flight I've been on has been a little chilly) and for Oslo.
2) I need something cool to wear in Singapore.
3) I need something classy for when I meet up with a friend at one of the bars in the Marina Bay Sands (don't want to be underdressed!)
4) My cabin bag doesn't have much space in it and I don't want to carry around a heavy bag all day.
I think the best way to address this situation is with two outfits; one for on the dreamliner, whalejet and Oslo which will be warm and one for the day in Singapore, which will be cool and classy.
Outfit #1 (787 + A380 + Oslo):
Jack & Jones Long Sleeve Grandad Shirt
Jack & Jones Marco Enzo White Pepper Trousers
Jack & Jones Muscle Rib T-Shirt (I wear this one as a singlet, though maybe I'll go without to avoid carrying it around all day)
Peugeot Men's 2028 Watch with Brown Leather Band
Hush Puppies Leather Dress Shoes
Panasonic RP-HC200 Noise Cancelling Headphones
Outfit #2 (Singapore):
Jack & Jones T-Shirt With Panel Jack & Jones Print (white with an elegant black logo)
Jack & Jones Tailored Mid Length Shorts In White
Jack & Jones New Look Revo Sunglasses
Hush Puppies Leather Dress Shoes (Black)
For this outfit I'm going for an all white look, since it's always looked classy whenever I've done it in the past. I'm not too sure about the shoes though. The black ones will probably look a little peculiar with the rest of the outfit being white, but I don't really want to carry around an extra pair with me all day.
I'm not really sure if I should take a sweatshirt or not. It would be nice to have something a little heavier on the plane(s) and in Oslo, but I really don't want to carry it around all day in Singapore. I have quite a nice Jack & Jones Premium Quilted Sweatshirt that would do well, but compact as it is when folded, it still takes up valuable space.
But I hear you ask, why does my wardrobe have so much clothing from Jack & Jones (Denmark's #1 fashion brand)? Good question! Well (aprt from the fact that I've always bought loads of their stuff), once upon a time towards the end of last year there was a somewhat heated discussion on a certain sports forum about a certain sports person. I was defending them (and doing a bloody good job of doing so) whilst everyone else was saying not very nice stuff. Anyway this cool dude (a Jack & Jones ambassador) saw the conversation:
He liked what I had to say, so messaged me, asked for my t-shirt size and address. Four days later a massive box arrived on my doorstep. In the top of the box was an autographed Jack & Jones RenaultSport partnership t-shirt.
Further down was a wide range of other top-quality Jack & Jones garments (mostly t-shirts). I was quite delighted....and now 85+% of the garments in my wardrobe are t-shirts.
Anyway, that's what I plan on wearing on Easter. I thought that the nature of this thread required a particularly detailed answer, so hope that I haven't disappointing. Any other feedback or suggestions with what I should wear?
