The Positivity Thread

With all the bad news in the world and people constantly bickering I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to the positive news in our lives. No politics, no debating, no negativity. So share anything positive happening in your life.

For me:
-Currently looking for an internship and have found some opportunities.

-Graduating this summer.

-My friends are doing pretty well in their career endeavors.

-Just around the corner MSP will be getting plenty of European flights for the summer with the usual DL service plus AF, KL, DE, and FI.

-My dad will be retiring from the post office next year.

-I'm hoping to move out of my parents' house this summer or fall. I've already looked at some apartments online and am pretty excited.


I'll probably think of more but thats all for now, so share yours! :smile:

- Found a wonderful person into my life, feeling better than ever before.
- Summer is coming, more energy and less bad weather.
- In general my life goals seem clearer than in a long time, which gives me more motivation to study.

We had some medical concerns for the wife in December and January while in Las Vegas and San Diego. Came back to the Dallas area.

Everything has worked out, and we are headed back west in our RV travel trailer. Currently at Holloman AFB near White Sands, NM.

Planning to be in Portland, Oregon by the end of May to visit grandchildren.

I'm getting constant static shocks, which means I'm losing electrons and becoming positively charged.

Oh...it's not that kind?

OK...well, I'm probably moving to Florida...wait, that's still not positive.
I've aced my grad school courses so far.
Got a nice savings net.
Car is on track to being paid off next year.

After 20 years together, we are getting married this year.
We have a great son who makes us very proud.
I have a great job and get to meet lots of great people and visit lots of interesting places.
Ok, actually I spend most of my time in the hotel, lol.
I'm grateful for all of you. Your user names are familiar and you are all like friends.

happy, married, with 5 grown kids, 7 grandbabies and everybody in good health. I feel very lucky.

raising 5 kids and putting them through college we got a late start saving for retirement,
While we don't have a lot of money because we invested in our children future. I have no regrets. Especially since everyone doing great. Life is good.
