Who'll Win Euro 2000?

It all starts pretty soon. Euro 2000. The world's second best international footy tournament. Who do you all think will win it?

Here are my predictions. I don't want to guess who will win the cup just yet, I'll first guess who will qualify for top 8 then when that is over I will guess the top 4 then when that is over the winner.

Well, here are my guesses;

Group: A: Germany, Romania
B: Italy, Turkey
C: Spain, Yugoslavia
D: France, Netherlands.

I Wonder how many will be right.

Hi folks,


I certainly think that Germany won't have a chance to win the cup but I guess Holland will make it.
They have awesome players like Kluivert, Zenden, Bergkamp, Davids, Bogarde, Stam, ...

They just gotta win it !!

I stopped with the logos (Johan said I can keep the letters).

According to the "Toronto Star" newspaper Italy has the best odds. After the latest developments I have eliminated some teams:

Turkey
Denmark
Sweden (They have a good defence?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

Looks like Portugsl has a pretty good chance, too.
They beat England last night 3:2 after a 2:0 lead for England.

The game between Slovenia and Yugoslavia was exciting but also very scary!!!! It was a remarkable feat that they tied it 3-3 and with 10 players!!!!! Usually Yugoslavia tends to lose when they are beating the otehr team, they get too confident I think. (In World Cup 98 they were beating Germany 2-0 and Germnay endend up beating them 3-2). If they had lost to Slovenia it would have ruined them compleatly.

As for Slovenia, they played very well. They actually played like a team as opposed to YUG which started doing that only in the second half. Also SLV doesn't have the attitude problem YUG does.

All in all, a very good and exciting game. Way to go for both teams.
