Remember when President Bush II was flying to Iraq, it was alleged a BA captain spotted AF1 going in the opposite direction. On that trip the backup went to Malta wondering where the backup goes now to an USAF base in Turkey or KSA?

Would ATC conversations use the Reach call sign or is that just for the public? Youd think that all military planes, especially AFO be totally invisible for flight trackers.

They shouldve also flown under the cover of darkness above all of the landmass on the east side of the Atlantic to prevent it.

Reach is a call sign for most non-tactical AMC missions, using it for ATC communications isn’t revealing anything. In Bush’s trip they filed as a Gulfstrwm type, not the 747. It’s too far to do it all in darkness and the way of the tracks with GPS, just as likely to be seen there.
