Reminds me of these two classics of an RAAF Hornet taken from the back of a C-130:

just inspecting if they cleaned out the hold properly.

This looks nearer than it really was, right? 30+m nearer and the peel off wouldn't have worked.

Would have stunk if a stuck pallet came off the rails.

Filmed in 2005, RAF Tornado F3's down south, something a bit different going on with the RAF C-130 crew in one brief segment when they film a F.3 peeking into their aircraft;

Would've been the first air-to-air kill of an Il-76!

The Iranians had a Il-76 that was modified into a AEW aircraft that crashed back in 2009. Some sources indicate that the aircraft had an mid-air collision with another Iranian fighter that was escorting it during a military parade.

Going further, did the Il76 score any kills with it's tail gun? Why did the Soviets add a tail gun to a strategic airlifter? Are there any photos from that position?

Pretty much all the photos you see here of Mig-31, Su-24 etc refuelling were taken from that position. Also, you can shoot ground targets with it like in this video :-) . But originally I think it was a last means of self defense against fighters.
