Last C-5A Retirement

Does anyone know when 00461 at Westover is going to Wright-Patt? I've heard sometime this month, but not sure of the date. Think they'll take Space As?

The NMUSAF is no longer getting a C-5. 461 is going to the boneyard. See comments in link provided.

RIP the TF-39. I just read in the other thread that the last one went to the boneyard. I live near Dayton, OH right now and the last C-5A I saw in flight was a couple of years ago off Wright-Patterson. Off int the distance, too far to see which model it was, but hearing it I knew for damn sure it had TF-39s. The C-5M just isn't the same bird.
