Today seems to be the day when the latest one goes into service on its summer lease contract. That's three now plying the holiday routes on AirTanker's leasing plan to rent out surplus capacity. I have to admit I opposed this initially as I believed the RAF should own its tankers outright but the AirTanker consortium seems to work well and offers surge ability when needed.
