Another P-8 question

Sat Mar 18, 2017 5:02 pm

Have all of the East Coast squadrons completed their conversion to the P-8? If so, when does Whidbey start the process? Also, are there plans in place to re-equip the VQ squadrons with EP-8 s?

I believe all the East Coast squadrons except maybe the FRS and reserve squadron have transitioned to the P-8. The former Hawaii-based squadrons now based at Whidbey Island are next in line to transition. The VQ and VPU missions are slated to be filled by the P-8 and MQ-4C according to reports.
