Inflight tanker experience!

Hi all!

I have had a great opportunity to fly for a 7-hours mission aboard the Italian KC-767A Tanker.
I attach some pics, the full report it's available clicking on the link below (it's in Italian, sorry. Enjoy the photos!)

I just occurred to me, it's not uncommon to see photos of an aircraft being served by boom, but I don't recall seeing many hose and drogue connections like your second shot.

Thank you very much.
For this session, I've used a Canon 5DMKIII with 24-105 f.4 L lens.

Hose and Drogue connections are more common with Naval Aviation A/C (For example US Navy Carrier based A/C).
