The center core is the most important. The first time it wasn't as big a deal since it was an old block version and likely not have been reused. But this one is a block 5 and will be reused. As the core, being the most expensive/modified booster, they really want it back in one piece and healthy!

The angle of the feed makes it look like the main booster may have damaged one of the legs, but still a good landing considering it was coming in at a very fast trajectory. It blows my mind how they can get 2 rockets back within a mile of the pad after having gone over 60+ KM up and about 30 Km downrange. ( they go higher and further prior to the boost back).

I don't know about the main booster, but it seemed to me from the footage that one of the side boosters was sitting slightly at an angle after landing.

Pretty common to have one or two of the legs crush down a bit and induce some lean. It always looks so gentle and graceful, but they call it a “hover-slam” for a reason.

Sounds to me as though the crew was never able to board the ASDS to secure the stage. Refueling would have been impossible as well.
