... and offer basic economy to those customers who, if given the choice, would freely select it but don't have the choice of a ULCC in their home market. What is so wrong with that?

But, it is a little disingenuous to blame the traveling public for expecting lower prices that the airlines freely offered and then holding it against the traveling public when they start complaining when prices go up. It is not beyond me. To me it's human nature. I never placed "blame" o...
