Look at the economy, this is such a major infastructure invesment. The government is close to shutting down, no chance of anything this major to happen anytime soon. Its not a bad idea and if aviation demand were booming in a good economy it might be possible but I just can't see it.

Unless oil crashes in price the answer is NO.

Delta has pretty good gates though. right next to the train. If they are gonna move im sure theyll want close to the train. A you can walk which is really cool and nice views but i often find the security line longer up there since everyone knows about it and there is so little room and few lanes.

They should have tried one stop thru a city in Europe at least. Seems unbelieveable that they could make this work profitably. How much demand could there even be to NYC from Malta? The path trains are not at all designed for luggage. They are often incredibly crowded also and the stations have steps galore.
