I don't think AA will get any additional daily frequencies from MIA before DL gets an additional daily flight. A friend of mine told me about this a few hours ago, it is pretty disappointing, no IFE, I expected something better from AA, These planes do have IFE - just not PTVs in the seatback. It's one of several new seasonal weekend routes AA loaded Sunday, which also included DFW-AVL, DFW-ILM, DFW-MYR, ORD-MYR, LGA-TVC and LAX-BZN.

From an operational standpoint, the schedule is interesting - with takeoff from FLG at the hottest time of the day.

I agree with others - I'm not quite convinced of the repeated conventional wisdom that China Southern joining one world necessarily precipitates Cathay Pacific's exit from the alliance. I, too, think the overlap between these two is somewhat overstated, and suspect they probably could coexist within...

nice adds by AA to connect more dots. :checkmark: It is, indeed, great to see AA restoring former (in several cases longstanding) routes like DFW-OAK, LGA-TVC and LGA-PWM, and connecting several extremely logical dots with routes like PHX-AMA and PHX-OKC. How long does this flight normally block? Could AA reconfigure some 321s with no F, but lie flat J? Seems they need a domestic aircraft beyond the 757 with a lie flat but not a full F product.
