I saw a rendering awhile ago of a livery for them. It looked very similar to their current livery but the titles were changed to billboard style. It actually looked fantastic on their A32S aircraft, too bad I can’t find it.

AA quietly painted the bottom of one of their old colored aircraft to silver to make it a retrojet. So the silverbird 737-800 will live on with the other retrojets.

While it certainly wouldn’t be impossible for the news to break early- like GJ did with HA- it looks like a fantasy model. As VirginFlyer said, the registration is not right. Besides, it would be best to see a BOAC retro on a 744!

In a weird turn of events, Havana Air reverted the titles on one of the former Eastern 737s back to the Eastern title and logo. If the company really is dead, why would Swift go through the hassle of replacing the titles back to EAL? Weird for sure, but something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

I believe Vegas has been using Swift Air. On their current road trip I've seen their travel videos on Facebook and it seems like the usual Swift Air 734.

Virgin America offers free alcohol on their Los Angeles to Vegas service. Because the flight is so short, they only have limited catering and offer passengers either water, white wine or beer for free (at least as of October 2017)

I did indeed write LH upon arriving home,even called them...their answers were even more upsetting than the experience ,and there was a limit to the length of the report. My favorite airline, Virgin America, also has one of my favorite callsigns: Redwood, because of the beautiful California Redwoods in their home state. The Muir Woods, known for their Redwoods is in close proximity to their hub at San Francisco. It'll be sad to see this callsign go away in April :(
