Re: Whats next at IAH?

Customs procedures have changed and lines shouldn't be an issue now. It's basically a series of officers who randomly ask questions or pick random pax for "inspection". Otherwise, unless you have previously declared at immigration, you walk right out. I'm surprised this isn't a bigger dea...

JFK Doesn't have a nonstop to Oceania. I believe IAH was the only airport in North America to hold this title until LOS got cut. Qantas flies the 747 from New York to Los Angeles, and the 747 continues on to Brisbane, Also, Qantas cannot solely fly passengers between New York and Los Angeles theref...

If PEK-GRU as a one-stop service and PER-LHR as a route yet to be flown are included then there are many more options... For instance, SYD have flight to Oceania, SCL, JNB, Asia, North America, and numerous direct routes with stops to Europe LAX have flights to North America, South America, Europe,...

I noticed that as far out as December, all of UA's 787 flights out of IAH are gone with the exception of UA 1126 to DEN which remains a 787. Will it remain a 787 or be changed? All contributions appreciated, thank you.

One of things about having a southeast hub is that your demand is highly concentrated upon FL and beyond (ie. Hello A.net, SQ was unique amongst airlines in that it had a special pax configuration for ULH routes as it had a weight penalty needed to make those routes work. A merger of EK and EY would've been possible if construction on the midfield project in AUH hadn't advanced so far. EY has invested good money (unlike their other investments) in ensuring AUH can compete with DOH and DWC in the future, and makes a merger that much more unlikely.

MCO is unique in that it has 3 jetways with the VS logo on them. I believe that this is the only such case of a foreign airline's logo on a jetway at a US airport, but VS has a substantial operation with a minimum of 3 daily flights and a maximum of 6, so it's warranted.
