SY won’t last. They have to compete with DL frequent flier bases on both ends, and an established LCC with more frequencies, NK. They have no connections on either end and poor timing for the MSP-DTW leg. They could last, but they’d have to sit down and think about their schedule and maybe an addit...

I’m all for an air train going from the midfield to the north and continuing on to the rental car lot. That’s not far fetched at all. Maybe even continue to the train that is supposed to connect Ann Arbor with downtown.

B Concourse can handle A320s and 737s. The master plan calls for filling the nodes to expand gate holds to handle A320s and 717s. It’s hard to say what they’d do but if I had to guess it would be filling the nodes and pushing DL Connection down to C and giving gates at the end of B to someone else. ...

These planes would be perfect milk run planes between DTW and Florida. It’s easier to build cans with 200+ bags and turn them quickly in an IROP as opposed to slinging them in the belly of a 757 or A321.

I assume BGM/ITH/SCE will probably return to DTW at 1x daily. Pretty sure those were all CRJ-200 routes before so I imagine they would just go 1x/day with the CRJ-900. Doing some research and the new airlines to DTW this summer have their terminals listed when you book a flight.

FI and SY, as expected, will join the tails of the Evans (North) Terminal.

Can’t find a terminal listed on WS’s website. We all assume they will go to the Mcnamara.

DL is adding a Saturday 717 flight between DTW and VPS beginning in June. Good use for a 717 when the schedule dips on Saturdays.

I heard it will still be an employee lot. The employee lot at the north end maxes out from Thursday to Monday regularly.
