I dumped DL due to their race to the bottom. Looks like they are gutting IND and propping up ATL with all that 757 service. Might as well close down the club because they are completely irrelevant in IND. Next time I book a flight it will be with AA. Nice work Delta.

Personally, I think the DOJ should say no to the merger. I wouldn't allow another airline merger for ages. If there are too many, let one go out of business. Merging out competition should never be the solution to a bad business model.

I would like to add that Delta's service has become complete trash. Earlier this month, I took my last flight with them. Their first class/Delta One experience has become a joke. If I'm going to spend that kind of money on a flight, I'm going with a better airline.

A market pair like Detroit and London is going to have a fair amount of leisure travel in terms of VFR (visiting friends and relatives) traffic. Leisure travel doesn't have to mean vacation travel.

I didn't realize how big the TUI thing was for MLB. So big that they had to expand the airport by adding 4 widebody gates to support a bunch of 787's. According to Wikipeda TUI Airways begins IND-LGW on May 27, 2022 this has to be a Lie? It is unlikely to be true. I cannot find any sort of announcement. There is nothing listed on the airline's website. It isn't even listed on the LGW Wikipedia page. Also, they only fly to one location in the U.S....

The service was probably mentioned already since it was announced in November of 2019. Looks like it will be a 787 unless equipment plans have changed. Going to be strange times in MLB with a 787 servicing the airport and "high speed" passenger rail passing through nearby.
