They haven’t even hired an architect to my knowledge. That’s usually a lengthy process. And FAA approval of master plan?? Is that just a formality?? The costs defy credibility to me. They were developed before inflation kicked in and plus building in place has to be more complicated. PIT spending $1...

Re: Cleveland Aviation - 2023

True Joeman but a difference now is that F9 has something like 200 planes on order; I think it's about 20-25 per year. They need to be put somewhere and CLE seems to be a pretty good station for them. That list of top stations that Massey posted, we were about the only one that wasn't a tourist mecca.

While it would have been nice for F9 to add let's say PDX instead of CLT, let us assume that they only have a plane available for more of a 2 hour flight each way. Then the question becomes what's a desirable destination within that range? Some that pop in my h...

When PIT is paying $700K+ for an airport director and last I can remember Kennedy was paid in the 2’s, no wonder the director search seems to be flailing. As the Browns did to Baltimore and Lamar Jackson by overpaying an absurd contract to Watson, so Pittsburgh is doing to midsize airports.
