Interestingly, from personal observation, I have noted that the props almost always have shorter taxi time at my local airport. The props almost always taxi to somewhere in the middle of the runway, closer to the terminal. Whereas, all the jets, including CRJ's and E-Jets, taxi all the way to the e...

It does change the narrative from bad route decisions from an often money-losing airline, to decisions made by what is or was considered a "winning" management. Again, everybody has routes that don't work, but the number of mounting failures at SFO is noticeable. I think “mounting failure...

As far as AS dropping IND-SFO, I agree it's a shame, but when UA started the second daily flight, I wondered if the writing wasn't on the wall for that one. UA was clearly trying to drive them out. Does DL still run IND-SFO as well? At least AS will still offer IND-SEA. DL does not fly it. WN start...

Horizon operates Q400s in a single-class, no extra-legroom 76-seat config. 'Extremely comfortable' is not the phrase I would use. Tolerable for PDX-Boise, or SEA-Kelowna is the most generously I could describe it. I don't think QX's Q400 are that bad. I'm 6' 2" and the seat pitch is fine (my k...
