Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN) - 2019

For BTV, if I had to bet money I would predict not a lot of change. However, since there is no fun in that here's what I see as best case/worst case possibilities: Best Case - Frontier extends MCO beyond the current Feb-Apr schedule and adds DEN. - Somebody makes BTV's fondest desire a reality and a...

Most likely seasonal. Same with PVD is seasonal. Yep, seasonal. Both DEN-PWM and PWM-RDU are due to resume on May 1. Somehow I missed that detail when service commenced. Thank you! I guess Frontier intended this flight to be more for leisure travel to Maine, during Maine's peak season, as opposed t...

I believe that Allegiant used a ramp when they were at BTV. There is still a ramp (maybe the same one?) sitting around that is branded for United, but I have never seen it in use.

BTV is a totally different market and more favorable because of the potential to draw from the 4.2m Montreal area, where TATL flights face higher Canadian fees and fuel costs. The province is very, very close to completing Autoroute 35, which will offer seemless freeway service from Montreal connec...

I would love to see a 2-3x weekly transatlantic flight of they can put a customs/immigration station inside the terminal. Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN) - 2018

About the new UA 737-900 EWR-BTV flights, I've seen other UA 739 flights into BTV in recent years, but I don't recall them being regularly scheduled. They seemed to be ad-hoc substitutions for 738s/A320s. So these new EWR 739 flights could be a milestone of sorts for BTV. The 739 is generally consi...

I tuned in to LiveATC after I saw the first few messages and listened for an hour or so and never heard anything for AC/Rouge.

Re: Air Canada Rouge Flight B763 1604 landed at KBTV Burlington Vermont

The flightaware shows RV1604 as departing YUL and arriving back at YUL just under an hour later, but at the time I am typing this Flightradar24 shows the plane in question, FIN 693, about to takeoff from YUL to go to FLL. It also says estimated . . I was tracking the altitude and it went on approac...

This must be one of the older large commercial jets still earning a living in the US.

Speaking of the old days, we had an interesting visitor in BTV today - DC-9 N784TW: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/AJI ... /KRWI/KBTV

This must be one of the older large commercial jets still earning a living in the US.

On the BTV front, I noticed in Flightaware that UA is sending 4 mainline aircraft today - 3xA319 (ORD) and 1xB739 (EWR). I don't check this daily, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is a first, or at least the first time in many years. And this is with AA flying at least two E170s from ORD as well.
