I went to Everett on Friday to take pictures of the Comet 4C and the 727-100 and was told they are being restored to be put on display at Museum of Flight. In Seattle, we have Boeing Freeway, Brewery Freeway, West Seattle Freeway, the bridges, and the Valley Freeway. For the traffic reports, they name the neighborhoods the freeway goes through. Anyone can listen to one of those 5+ minute reports, and know where every freeway goes.

I drove 4 hours in the fall of 1989 to PDX just to see Concorde. She did a fly-by, made a loop and landed. I still can't believe I saw her!! Living in the Northwest, we see commuter flights, Boeing and sometimes and Airbus, so Concorde will always be special.

This may be a little off subject but why does Horizon not use the jetways at SEA for the F-28s? I've seen it done at BOI. What will they do when they get their ERJs? I know the two gates Horizon uses on B concourse can not go down that far but the gates they use on C and the two sattelites can.

I would rather not fly on a DC-8. I lived in Portland when a UA DC-8 ran out of gas and crashed. I don't think the type really matters, it's more the company that owns the equipment. I've had a bad experience on CO once, but that was years ago. That DC-9 was nice, but the crew was not.
