It’s behind a paywall, but I’d assume it’s LEVEL? If so, they commenced service on March 31st.

Yes, LEVEL A330-200 service to BCN.

Re: American Airlines Fleet - 2024

On a serious note, the transcon flights and shorter/mid haul international flights probably can use the IFE. To both sell more of a premium experience and of course more AA credit card ads. Pretty difficult to do though since those routes use the same planes that are flown on short domestic hops to...

Re: American Airlines Network - 2024

AA could theoretically fly a 737-MAX8 or an A321NEO on a PHL-EDI route, but it would be a bit of an oddball on an airline that doesn't seem to do that kind of thing, using a domestic configured aircraft for a TATL route (though they have in the past from BOS on 757s and from PHL. My guess is that E...

Back to the question asked at the beginning of the topic:

When will Boeing finally consider ending the 737 family

My guess is sometime in the 2040s they announce and EIS around 2050.

My other guess is that many participating in this topic won't be alive (perhaps myself included) to see this.

AA 2437 SJU-MIA Circles For 1 Hour After Takeoff Today 12/21

Really strange. They took off from SJU bound for DFW but upon reaching 10,000 feet, they descended to 3,000 feet and circled over Puerto Rico for about an hour, then climbed out and continued on to MIA as a divert. Anyone know why? https://es.flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL2437/history/20231221/2039...
