Appears all MAX 9 inventory on AS has been zeroed out for the next couple of weeks, due to the AS1282 incident. Guess we'll see if (when?) things progress to cancellations.

If the unions accepted 2 hours of CVR recording time, I don't see what the objection would be at this point to increasing it. All in-flight cockpit conversations are already recorded, most just end up overwritten with new data.

BA has resumed LHR-SJC after over two years absence. This is the first (and so far only scheduled) trans-oceanic flight to resume there after COVID.

If you continue reading my post you'll see that I addressed driving vs flying. It does make more sense to drive to, say, MRY or maybe even SBP from the Bay Area, but RNO/SBA are far enough that it could go either way. Knowing what's been happening with the Covid surge, I would expect August and September numbers to look more like 2020, unfortunately. Leisure travel has dropped off with school being back, and business traffic isn't coming back to make up for it. SFO and SJC will probably both be slumping back down...
