I thought QF was planning to keep the 744ER'S a while longer. What will the average age of 744ER fleet in 2020? Any chance they might find homes with other carriers? Perhaps wishful thinking BA as a short term replacement for older 744'S?

I know the CEO didn't include the 772ER as a possible option. Would Thomas Cook consider the 777? Is it to much aircraft in terms or capacity or operating costs preventing the purchase? Should SQ continue to retire their fleet would they be a possibility?

Unfortunately I think B6 gets hit harder than AA on the PHL side. Think they will be ok from BOS-PHL passenger perspective.

As much as I have enjoyed my B6 flights, I have enjoyed flying AM BOS-MEX-BOS on 2 trips. Looking forward to flying them again. BOS-Mex market can support 1 carrier at the moment, perhaps B6 should consider FLL-MEX or MCO-MEX for that slot pair.

Could QF'S 744ER'S do SYD-IST-SYD without taking a significant payload hit? Is there a large enough market to justify a 3x or 4x service?

Ty NickolayAv. I was thinking 3x or 4x with a 763 might work LIM-BOS-LIM on days the GRU-BOS-GRU does not operate. I meant 788'S when asking about LY'S TLV-BOS-TLV service. Perhaps someday the route might require the 789.

Wondering why the government of India does not take two older AI frames for their VIP fleet? Certainly they could do the job for years as they will not put on the number of cycles and hours a widebody would for an airline. I think if DL sees it can make more money utilizing aircraft on BOS-IAH-BOS or BOS-DEN-BOS verse other routes they will allocate planes and crews to operate the routes. Has PIA began to look at their widebody fleet renewal yet? I know they have been leasing A320 family aircraft replacing older 737 aircraft for domestic and regional flying. Guessing the 789 or A359 would be able to fly any route in their system.
