Sure Iran is stirring the pot in the M.E. remember the shoot-down by the USS Vincennes of Iran Air flight 655. I know tech has improved since then but hey. Can't see the Iranians doing it out front but by proxy may be This reminds me so much of the things that were taken as 'truths" in 2002/20...

In the UK petrol stations now have diferent size nozzles on the pumps which fit the fuel tank, making it "almost" impossible to put the wrong type of fuel in the tank.

The Straits of Hormuz will be key should things become silly. Iran needs to be able to use the Straits to export their own oil so can't see them mining the area, however conducting live fire exercises would have an equal effect. Insurers would pull cover from ships making the area a no go for foreig...

23yrs in the car rental business at LHR, gotta say the Americans were one of the better drivers we encountered. One biggie which tended to throw em was Roundabouts. Not to many in the US so not much experience of them, give way to the right when entering.Enjoy the ride.

As an armchair fireman I have always wondered why crews are not always stationed half way down the runway as well as the chasers at the begining? guess they have a good reason. :confused:
