Southwest is adding BNA - RIC once a day starting on June 4
Jump to postI’m fully aware of the blocked middle seat. It’s called UpFront Plus. I’m surprised you’re so sure Frontier will not introduce a First Class. Spirit offers 2x2 big front seats. I’m telling you Frontier might have jumped the gun and announced new first class via Facebook. The post clearly said help u...
Jump to posthttps://finance.yahoo.com/news/frontier-airlines-overhauls-network-turns-050231887.html I think Frontier will soon announce a new First Class product. 5 days ago they posted a contest on Facebook to name their new First class. When you clicked on the link it redirected you to the form to submit your...
Jump to postHuge announcement, and definitely answers my question from earlier lol. Did F9 axe SAN tho? That's what bothers me about Frontier's out-and-back policy for crew scheduling. They are trying to eliminate hotel bills for crews that can't get home within allowed daily hours and also make life better fo...
Jump to postI think it’s interesting how F9 is announcing these routes. They announced 50+ routes on 1/23. 14 routes announced from DFW on 1/24. PHL got 10 routes on 2/7. CVG got 6 on 2/13 and now CLE announces 10 routes today. I wonder why they didn’t announce all routes with the big announcement on 1/23. I gu...
Jump to postFrontier Airlines has partnered with a flexible apartment leasing company to combine unlimited stays with its all-you-can-fly package. The Nomad Pass, which launched Thursday, combines the low-cost carrier’s Go Wild! deal with furnished rentals managed by Landing. The new pass costs $1,495 per month...
Jump to postI'm hearing that they are having a Rally in Dallas today for the employees. Anyone know details? It’s going on at this very moment at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. So far, I’ve heard they’re getting new seats. Any pictures of the new seats/interiors? Maybe they'll do what AS is doing, or simil...

https://onemileatatime.com/news/frontier-airlines-transform-business/ This announcement seems to be inline with Frontier’s new Ryainairesque business model. Outside of RDU (future base?), most of these adds are from/to their bases. We are simply seeing Frontier making the changes it said it would to...
Jump to postDoes anyone know if they plan to bring back BNA Express Park? It was a COVID casualty, and hasn’t returned since. I enjoyed the service. Rumor today says it will be parking for WN pilots and flight attendants for the new crew base. I noticed the new employee buses say “Employee Lot 1” which makes m...

True. Eagle was big at BNA with over 150 flights towards the end. FYI - Southwest is scheduled to operate 160 flights from BNA this Sunday.
Jump to postAre there any NK employees on here that have a preference for B6 or F9? I work at an airport and asked several NK pilots and flight attendants today which airline they want to merge with and 100% of them said F9. They were adamant and said B6 would destroy and dismantle them. There were no delays or...
Jump to postWhat does ORD & MDW look like with a combined F9 + NK?
Jump to postDoes anyone know if BNA plans to keep the current North and South security lines once the new lobby opens? No. The 2 temporary checkpoints go away and will be converted to more ticket counters and restrooms. The new checkpoint goes back to the center of the building and will have up to 24 all CT X-...
Jump to postI was told that it is a Satellite Base and I see that’s what it is called in their presentation. I asked what that meant and they said it’s a fake base. There is no crew room. No computer even. Can anyone shed light on what a satellite base is?
Jump to postJust going off the numbers the airport posted in their presentation. It shows 5 T gates
Jump to postThe gate count is in the airport’s last presentation https://www.flynashville.com/about/Documents/2019-10-09_TAC_Meeting.pdf A - 17 gates B - 10 gates C - 19 gates D - 6 gates T - 5 gates There was a proposal to add 3 more gates on to the new D concourse currently under construction The satellite wo...
Jump to postThere were also 15,000 attendees from Rodan + Fields skincare at the downtown convention center that flew out yesterday
Jump to postI know I’d rather get on a plane that has been screened that to get on one that hasn’t. I’ve never had an issue with the TSA and think they do a pretty good job with everything that’s asked. I get more frustrated when I get behind passengers who don’t know what they’re doing. The liquid ban has been...
Jump to postIn addition to MCO & DEN, F9 is also adding TPA & LAS from GSP.

The Allegiant counter signage went up last night or this morning. They’re at the very far right hand location next to WestJet’s counter.
Jump to postThe population of Palm Springs isn’t even in the top 100 list of largest populations in California. I would add SCK at over 300,000. FAT is over 500,000
Jump to postThat is a Canadian North Airlines 737. It’s been there for a few days.
Jump to postThe airport said it will take 55,000 dump trucks to fill in that hole and it won’t be cheap.
http://bnavisionnashville.com/2018/01/1 ... sion-plan/
I’m not sure of the timeline. I know 2 additional checkpoint lanes open on the south side by the end of this month. 2 more lanes will open by August I believe. The airport wants 24 lanes when the plan is all realized in 5 years. The airport currently has 10 lanes and going to 12 in a couple weeks.
Jump to postDuring the big terminal remodel there will be no connector walkway between A/B and C. The central consolidated checkpoint will split back into two separate checkpoints, one serving A/B and the other serving C. This will certainly complicate things for BA passenger’s ease of access to the admirals cl...
Jump to postI’ve heard yes and no on the widening of B. It’s in the plan but I’ve also heard they’ve shelved that plan. Either way it’s going to be up to 5 years. It just seems like it’s going to be a poor customer experience at the end of B in the meantime.
Jump to postBA signage did not go up at the counter or gate last night but they do have computers installed. The airport has put up the BA directional signs to B concourse. It’s definitely gate B11 and looks like it’s going to be a packed and small holding room. You have Frontier, Westjet, Contour and Boutique ...
Jump to postI’ve seen Wright Travel mentioned a couple times now as possible ticket counter space for G4. Wright Travel hasn’t occupied counter space in at least a year. They’ve already moved to different real estate in the airport. DL already gave up some old NW counter for BA. It seems to me that AA’s counter...
Jump to postWN started service to MSY in 1978 so this would make it their 40-year anniversary. This has to be a Louisiana state flag special livery.
Jump to postThis article says PDX is number one on its wish list with RIC being number two. It also says BNA is close to landing an Iceland flight.
https://www.bizjournals.com/nashville/n ... ml?ana=fbk
The stage is bare with no people currently there. The backdrop is the BNA logos.
Jump to postNoticed the airport has a small press? stage setup near the WN ticket counter. Any idea or word why?
Jump to postWN’s spirit rally is this Thursday at the Grand Ole Opry house so I’d imagine they’ll announce something then.
Jump to postIsn’t WN already using C2 as an overflow gate? I see their planes there every once in a while. I believe they share it with AA.
Jump to postI guess UST-SJU was a mistake but it was showing up. Now it’s not. That was the only head scratcher for me.
Jump to postI believe UA is also adding 6 flights to DEN & SFO in the fall. With AS’s 13 flights that seems like a lot of flights for 2 gates.
Jump to postFinal 2017 passenger numbers are in - https://flynashville.com/news-and-media/press-releases/Pages/2017numbers.aspx “NASHVILLE ─ The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) today announced Nashville International Airport (BNA) served more than 14.1 million passengers in 2017, setting a new a...
Jump to postI like this link which shows all cities served nonstop from each market -
https://flights.flyfrontier.com/en/site ... ity/page-1
And not only are most of the 21 cities simply a resumption of service but not all are starting at the same time. It's a phased in approach. It's a way for them to make a big splash. I believe only 8 of the 'new' are now available for booking. I have no doubt that F9 knows exactly what they are doing.
Jump to postThe route map is updated with all spokes. I'm seeing new cities - ABQ, PSP, ONT, SJC, RNO, OKC, BUF & GRR. There's a lot of connecting the dots. Click on SJU for example to see all of its new service.
Jump to postI'm not sure where BA would find ticket counter space at BNA. I guess they could share AA's counter and gate but this will not be an issue once the airport expansion a.k.a. BNA Vision happens in the next few years.
Jump to postWN posted on their own Facebook page around 1 pm yesterday. It's still there. It says, "Tennessee proud? Monday will be music to your ears. Love, Southwest" "Nashville, Something big is coming soon! 2.22.16"
Jump to postWN might not be done with schedule announcements. They have posted something on Facebook about some big announcement in BNA on February 22.
