Could Finnair /Norra/OneWorld make Bromma as their focus airport in Stockholm and leave Arlanda completely? Or is there something in Arlanda that requires their presence there? Capacity probably. Considering Finnair fly to ARN, something around 8x daily and that BMA is limited when it comes to allo...Jump to post
I could see LCCs ordering the C-series, both the CS100 and CS300, and then quipping them with six abreast seating. In a six abreast configuration, at 30 pitch 1-class, the CS100 and CS300 would carry 150 and 180 passengers respectively. AFAIK the CS100 and CS300 is certified for max 130 and 160 pas...Jump to post

I suspect SAS. They have some old 736s and 737s...and some may upgauge CR9 routes. Agree with you about the 736/737 - but they do not own any CR9 any more - i think it is Cittilink that makes this production for them. . I hate all these undisclosed orders....even LoIs like here.
And what is really a "firm LoI" ?
My last flight from OSL (to ARN) was fully automated. Printed bag tags from the check-in machine, used the self-service bag drop, the boarding card check at security is automated, although of course the actual security is being staffed. Entered the SAS lounge which has automatic gates, and then the ...Jump to post
The table shows that all 13 B736 will stay in the fleet until 2027 - that's impressive. They must have found a route structure they are economical on. What are their plans with the MAX 7? Will it be a 150-seat trans-Atlantic bird? Or will they squeeze in 172 seats, which is the new 7 max seat count...Jump to post

What?! According to marketwatch.com, Finnair is in finacial problems, as well as Turkish Airlines. Also, the website shows Finnair is a candidate for bankruptcy. This cannot be true  marketwatch.com What a joke of a website. This one claims SAS is better financially safe than Lufthansa :laughi...Jump to post
Beijing Capital obviously is the designated Chinese carrier on Beijing-Copenhagen and Beijing-Helsinki. However, they have to fly it within 2 years, if not they loose their route authority from the Chinese government. And this may also affect their possibility to be awarded other routes between Chin...Jump to post

I know it’s not shiny and new like the 787s but the A330NEO looks fantastic. I just wonder, as the capability is increased, does it make less and less sense to buy an A330 vs the A350? Or even a 787? Can't speak for the 787 but the A350 will be fine. The A330 is about at it's limit now as far as it...Jump to post
For me this is very surprising. SAS will next summer fly from Skellefteå to Malaga. It’s possible LH does not keep the entire fleet. Rumor is that United will very soon announce a transaction for 30-40 used airbus aircraft to enter the fleet. Isn't most of those anyway leased? Are they all flying out of CPH to Asia and SFO at this point? I believe SK used to have 7 or 8 of them, but I doubt that is true at this point. They have 8.
