Are they still trying to claim that it is out of their control and thus they are not liable for compensation, or have they given up that ruse? SAS has canceled more flights than usual in the company's third quarter of 2018, which will lead to higher irregular costs.
This is evidenced by the company's traffic figures for July 2018.

For once the yield is up.
The question is whether it is just a one time happening or start of a much needed trend, in order to survive
Does anyone know if the aircraft is still on the ground at OSL? Scheduled departure LGW -JFK is 2.5 hours from now and from what I can see on tracking sites it hasnt ferried down to LGW yet. The aircraft has had lots of time to get to LGW in time for the JFK service at 17h05! Will leave OSL in abou...Jump to post

Pax would be packed even tighter in a 737 or 320! lol Who do Ving normally use for their flights ? Using a 380 to clear a chunk,if not all, of the backlog stuck in Majorca in one hit is probably cost-effective. They must already have crew who are qualified and current on the 380 ready for operation...Jump to post
Will return from PMI to OSL later today. Then tomorrow at 12:30 CET, it will fly OSL-LGW as DI8992. And then be used by Norwegian on LGW-JFK. At least untill August 13, but maybe untill August 23 Norwegian is selling tickets with a configuration 90 premium economy and 399Y economy. Thus 12 of the pr...Jump to post

I know it’s not shiny and new like the 787s but the A330NEO looks fantastic. I just wonder, as the capability is increased, does it make less and less sense to buy an A330 vs the A350? Or even a 787? Can't speak for the 787 but the A350 will be fine. The A330 is about at it's limit now as far as it...Jump to post
For me this is very surprising. SAS will next summer fly from Skellefteå to Malaga. Will be interesting to see, i guess SAS did get a good deal with Skellefteå Airpo...Jump to post
It’s possible LH does not keep the entire fleet. Rumor is that United will very soon announce a transaction for 30-40 used airbus aircraft to enter the fleet. Isn't most of those anyway leased? And taking those 81 aircraft, deduct the 40ish already operating for Eurowings/Austrian, the one belong t...Jump to post

TK's website seems to show A332/A333 for one of the two daily flights to HEL for S18. Same aircraft for OSL&ARN, but I'm not aware if TK uses A330 already for these routes? Are they all flying out of CPH to Asia and SFO at this point? I believe SK used to have 7 or 8 of them, but I doubt that is true at this point. They have 8.
