You also have a hub in the HK end, where CX has the hub advantage. I flew CX recently, and it seemed like a high percentage (clear majority) connecting passengers in HKG, but of course this is anecdotal evidence, proper statistics would be needed. CX and SK also provide some feed for each other ;)

Boeing did announce both a 747-500 and 747-600 at the 1996 Farnborough Air Show. However due to lack of interest from airline it never materialized. Even in the last half of the -90s, the 747 popularity had startet to decline. Then they waited a few year and launched the much more successful 777-300...

LN-RRZ is leaving the SAS fleet today, so now their down to 9 737-600s in their fleet The end is near. Is it announced yet when the last will retire? In October, IIRC. Booked myself a pair on OSL-TRD-OSL in September as a last attempt to catch them after 3 failed attempts, fingers crossed it works....

ACF is only an option on the A321neo, and is mainly about the door configuration and not the cabin. Although removing door #2 influence the cabin layout
