Here’s one that I don’t think anyone brought up. DLs hubs are in smaller markets with less competition. Looking at fares paid at MSP, DTW, and even ATL, UA can’t charge those in a place like ORD.

I think if ET can get its ACC based subsidiary up and running, IAH would be a strong candidate as it would provide much easier connections to LOS.

MU starting PVG from IAH is much more likely than UA IMO.

What on earth? ORD has received lots of love and attention from UA. I dont understand the complaints from the ORD crowd. Its the biggest hub, the first Polaris lounge, and they have the most well rounded network of any of the hubs.

I can’t speak for EWR, but IAD already has service and IAH has higher fares and a larger market to Africa than ORD does.
