Re: Iberia launching Singapore?

Yesterday while driving where Tanglin Road becomes Orchard Road, I saw another ad, but this time it was IB cobranded with QR. I couldn't make out the details as I was driving, but it seemed to be promoting Madrid, and both with IB and QR logos. Color was kind of maroon but not quite QR's brand color...

Not sure what the numbers are, but there's definitely mining-related traffic from Singapore to Brazil, Chile, and Peru, most of which goes via SYD and SCL.

(Before anyone asks, all the marketing/sales/trading offices of all the major miners are in Singapore).

Iberia launching Singapore?

Just saw two large billboard ads of Iberia advertising Madrid in Singapore on the AYE, one of the highways in Singapore (for those in Singapore, the ads are close to where the highway splits into the AYE and Telok Blangah Road).

Took photos and tried to attached the files but it failed.

I found out from Alaska Air that they only take checked luggage up to 4 hours before departure. However, since I am flying in from SIN on SQ about 10-11 hours before, I can ask SQ to interline the luggage onto AS. That way I can pick it up and recheck it post customs at SFO.

Seems silly and stupid to rush out 5G when there is a risk of it interfering with aircraft. Aviation is a huge safety risk to begin with, and now wireless companies are given the power to push out 'faster' 5g service at the expense of aviation / aviation safety? 4G and LTE don't interfere with airc...

Flight numbers and timings in the US

There's two things I don't understand about US aviation. I am sure there is a logical explanation and I'd love to understand it: Flight numbers - I noticed sometimes both the outbound and the inbound have the same flight number, e.g. DL 778 is both ATL-SFO and SFO-ATL. Why? In most other places you ...
