I’m guessing with the departure delay that the crew (pilots) have reached duty limits. It’s easy enough to position crew to Orlando or Miami for quick swap and some gas.

Why isn’t Southwest included? They fly 700+ airplanes to 120ish destinations and are third largest in passengers carried. They may not have hubs by their own terminology, but certainly have important focus cities with flights to many destinations that would warrant being on such a list.

Insurers cover stupid all the time. It comes down to the covered perils and the contract.
